As a locally-owned company, Fred’s Energy believes in giving back
to the community and this past holiday season, had put forth a “Charity
Challenge.” Fred’s Energy matched every donation received – dollar
for dollar. In total, $6,000 was raised and distributed equally to five
local charities:
- Lamoille Community Food Share
- United Church of Newport
- Northeast Kingdom Youth Services (NEKYS)N
- Helping Other People Everyday (H.O.P.E.)
- Northeast Kingdom Community Action (NEKCA)
The charities were highlighted throughout the Challenge for their incredible community service,
and representatives from each are shown above with Dennis Percy, the General Manger from
Fred’s Energy. A special “thank you” to all our friends and neighbors who contributed!
